Driveway Installation
The driveway is usually the largest hardscape surface on the property, and it does a lot of jobs at once: load-bearing for daily vehicle traffic, snow-plough resistant, properly drained away from the garage door, and visually anchoring the front of the home.
Done properly, a driveway should be invisible work — you should not be thinking about it. Done badly, it cracks, settles, pools water, and frames your home in a way you wish it did not. We build them properly.
Materials
Three families that handle vehicle loads, Ontario winters, and salt season for decades:
The premium choice. Quarried granite setts, flagstone borders, or cobbled stone surfaces, each piece chosen for its individual grain and tone. Naturally frost-resistant, century-durable, and unmatched for high-end homes where the driveway is part of the architectural statement. A real investment piece — and one that ages beautifully.
Engineered concrete pavers rated for vehicle traffic. Modular and repairable — if one paver settles or fails, it is lifted and replaced without disturbing the rest. The most premium of the three options, with a wide range of patterns, tones, and edge treatments to coordinate with the architecture of the home.
Stamped, dyed, or broom-finished concrete with proper control joints and reinforcement. Visually striking and customisable to mimic stone or brick, while delivering the strength and consistency of a poured surface. Best paired with a base built for our freeze-thaw cycles.
Driveways do best when they are part of a front-yard design — not just a slab between the road and the garage. Coordinated edges, drainage that runs cleanly off the property, planting beds that frame the approach. Designed together, built together, finished together.

On-site assessment of grade, drainage, soil conditions, and how the existing driveway is performing. Custom design coordinated with the front of the home and surrounding landscaping.

Real samples in your hand. We walk through natural stone, paver, and concrete options against your budget, your home’s architecture, and the long-term maintenance you want to live with.

Excavation to proper depth, compacted aggregate base sized for vehicle loads, drainage grading, and edge restraints. The structural work that decides whether the driveway lasts decades or starts settling in year three.

Sealing where appropriate, planting bed and lawn edges resolved cleanly, and a walkthrough together. Guidance on snow ploughing and salt use so your investment lasts the way it should.
