Materials
Pool deck materials need to handle water, chlorine, sunscreen, and bare feet. Three families that earn their place poolside:
Natural stone — limestone, travertine, granite — with the kind of grain and tone variation you cannot fake. Travertine stays remarkably cool underfoot even in direct sun, which makes it a favourite for poolside applications. The most timeless of the three options.
Engineered concrete pavers with textured, non-slip surfaces designed specifically for pool surrounds. Modular and repairable — if frost ever heaves a single paver, we lift and reset it without disturbing the rest. Excellent value, wide design range.
Stamped and dyed concrete with broom or texture finishes for slip resistance. A continuous-pour surface means no joints for grass or weeds to grow through. Customisable to mimic stone or brick at a more accessible price point.

The area around your pool is graded, drained, and base-prepared. Then the chosen material is installed with careful attention to coping joints, expansion gaps, and water flow away from the pool.

Sealing, joint sand, lighting integration, and the final walkthrough together. Practical care guidance so your pool deck stays beautiful through Ontario winters and pool seasons.
